The University of Alabama College of Engineering supports the following NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates Programs.

Each REU Program consists of a group of about ten undergraduate students who work in a specific research project monitored by faculty. Students are granted stipends and, in many cases, assistance with housing and travel.
